Game breaking bug on my first playthrough... I'm on this quest that just keeps looping. I gotta buy asuka a dress and then after I give her it starts over from when we get the novel assignment from evergarden. Annoying because i've bought the dress three times now and done the loop and it wont work.

One thing that you can do right now, is start a new game, skip the first week, and after making enough money to buy the dress, don't work with Rebecca anymore, and just go to class on Monday when the task asks you to do so.
So what worked for me (I had the same issue) letting it loop to Monday, and buying the dress after the class, and then doing the scene with Asuka at night giving her the dress. This put the mission back on track and I was able to continue
Small edit, I can confirm this works, as I went on to the next monday and it no longer looped. Hopefully it works on your end

First Time playing the game and ran into a gamebreaking bug within the first 5 minutes very nice i love how there is a quest to talk to asuka on the second floor but you cant go to the second floor without it making you go into a prompt that makes you choose to go up or down a floor without talking to anyone
Currently stuck at sneak into asuka's room at night, when I do she is sleeping and when I go talk to her its suddenly daytime, this happened after talking to her about trying to retake the subconscious test where she risks her life, what do I do?

They still have to do the Power route, creator said they will make it for the 7.0 version. For now for more content you have to wait 23 of the next month for the 6.0 update that will include a fragment portal to have a route with Mitsuri Kanroji.

Glad you liked it! And to answer your question, unfortunately, yes, but starting the upcoming version we added a "Skip to new version" button for concurrent players who want to play the new content without the need to play it all over again.
If you are experiencing a "looping bug" and don't want to download the new 0.5.6 again, you can avoid it by skipping class on Monday (Unless the task you are trying to do says so) and also avoid making more money than $400, that should fix it. (If you are in a loop already and can't advance with the task, you need to start a fresh save file, remember that you can skip the whole first week so you don't need to go through all of that again)
Great game! Reran the game from the start, accidentally went to class on Monday after buying the dress, now it says I need to buy the dress and won't let me progress. Having to start the game over form scratch... again. Very annoying.

By far the best itch.io hentai game I've seen. The animations, the soundtrack, the fact it has a plot!! and it's genuienly interesting!! It's nice to have an actual reason to do stuff instead of it being because the protagonist is just like that. The gameplay loop does become very tedious(especially at the end) and there are plenty of bugs that are annoying (Certain tasks like the dress for Asuka and the novel reappearing and overriding the current one, even if you've already finished them), that is to be expected from something still in progress.
I wasn't gonna write anything until I read someone said the plot ruined the sex fantasy? and the mere idea that the plot did anything but enhance the game made me spitefully leave a good comment. amazing work!!!

Better than your competitors, the same, or worse...
One of the biggest miscommunications that come between an aspiring game dev and their audience is the fact that the game is still in an early stage of development and the aspiring game dev never bothers to mention, upfront on the top of the page (or anywhere for that matter), the following message: "The game is still in early development, (alpha, beta, etcetera) and the only route or level available is..."
If you had done THAT half of the complaints on your page would not exist and the other half WOULD NOT come from players expecting to see a finished game or a game that only needs a little polish.
The fact that you finally bothered to mention "The game is still in early development," in the comments after someone complained about the quality of your game, sounds like a copout rather than a reply from someone who is owning up to the lack of X in their product.
If I have to read all of your dev reports until (the present) before DL'ing your game, just so I know what to expect (regarding the quality of your game) I am gunna move on and DL someone else's experiment rather than DL'ing yours.
"Currently under development..." is a very, very vague annoucement and given the rest of that paragraph, "as soon as we reach our patron goals we will be able to release an official road map and possibly start working full time on the project, which will guarantee updates very often and overall a faster development", it sounds like a sales pitch (and a pathetic excuse) for an unfinished game.
If you truly want people to buy your games...
If you truly want people to view you as a successful and dependable game dev (and not another amateur wannabe hack or worse a crowd-funding scammer)...
First, finish the game AND THEN put a price tag on it.
It's bad enough that AAA companies think we should fund their beta-testing but it's even worse to say, "we can't finish our half-baked game without your money".
Second, stop using software meant for the character creation from one of Illusion's games to make art that is supposed to be owned by you.
Before you make anymore excuses or copouts, ask yourself...

If you want to make money as a game dev then you had better learn to run your ship better than (at least the majority of) the wannabe amateur hacks that overfill itch.io and other sites like itch.io.

Learn to program and learn to do your own art or learn to accept that you will never be a successful game dev.
Every professional in the world, knows starting a business takes a huge personal investment and an even bigger sense of commitment.
I spent 8 years learning to program. 7 of those years were spent learning how to do all of the systems of software design for the type of applications I dreamed of making and some I won't ever need (basic thru advanced).
Then, I considerd architecture and engine design. Finally, after yet another 2 years (studying architecture and engine design) I wrote my first engine.
That is what it takes...that level of commitment.
Even then many other variables come into play.
Before I decided to re-learn programming (because I failed to do so in college during my 20's), I spent 38 years growing up and maturing as a person...working for other people.
I earned my way to the third highest in two seperate companies. I learned how to do business plans, make brochures, speak to investors, speak to distributors & wholesellers, how to be a leader, how to manage groups of people, how to produce products and sell them. All of these are essential business skills that NO ONE is born with.
And I learned how to learn from my mistakes... I worked at Mcd's when I was 20 and again at 32. Plus several retail outlets between the rise of my successes and fall of my misrtakes.
And after all of that time, effort and learning, I still suffered 3 failed startups, before I made it.
And no, I don't sell porn games.
I make and sell legitmate software.
I don't have volunteers. I have employees. I pay them a good wage.
Like most professionals, I didn't do crowdfunding. I make my products and then I sell them.
I wasn't born rich. My mother never made than $14 an hour and my father died in a trailer park the same year I began putting myself back to school. He died before he got to see me finally have my own little piece of the world. I never got to ask if he was proud of me.
Meanwhile...
You turned 18 or 16 and you believe 'I know everything about life', meanwhile you take huge short cuts, make excuses and whin about being poor and whin when your thrree-month, part-time endeavor gets less than 3 stars.
Right now, you're on the same path as 90% of the other wannabes on this site. but it's never to late to change and learn to do things the right way rather than the quick and easy way.

After two years running a startup...14-hour days, 7 days a week, working until dawn and getting 6 hours sleep.......you have to go get a job and all of the money has to go back to the investor(s).
The next day, when you feel nothing could be more bleak than your life at that moment........you walk back into your office and look upon your desk and all of the business licenses, design documents, diagrams, finished systems and engines, protoypes, spread sheets...(all of your pride) and you have to figure out where to put all of it (if not into the trash can).
You don't know what hard is.
You don't know the price of sacrifice...
You don't know the cost of having a dream....
not yet...
but.....
win or lose....
if you get close enough to see the fruit of your labor turn into enough dollar signs that you can finally hire people.......you will finally understand the cost of having a dream IS the price of sacrifice.
I don't really know where all this is coming from. It's okay if you don't enjoy the game; we are not expecting it to be everyone's cup of tea. If you want to give it 1 start that is fair enough; you have your own reasons, and that is okay. We are constantly trying to improve in every aspect; it does not take that much to see the clear improvement between the first week of the game and the current quality of the renders, animations, and storytelling. If you take a look at our discord, we are always looking for ways to make the gameplay experiences better, trying to fix every bug or error that we encounter and adding features that people suggest and make sense for the overall enjoyment of the game.

It's really weird because you don't know any of us at all, and you are making assumptions based on nothing. You are taking this way too personal. We never claimed that "we know everything." We always try to listen to criticism and learn from it. Neither of us are less than 21 years old. We cannot sell My Hentai Fantasy because it uses copyrighted characters and assets that we do not own. That is why almost every illusion-based visual novel is FREE and we just rely on people supporting the project on Patreon to get early access, but at the end of the day, the game is free. You cannot sell illusion-based games because you can get sued. That is why none of them are published on Steam. So all that about "finish the game AND THEN put a price tag on it." is not possible for us or for the majority of illusion-based developers. And that is okay, we are still working on our regular jobs outside of MHF. You don't know our financial situation.
You don't know how much time, effort, and money we are putting into this project. Every h-scene is custom-made, and every h-scene has a different voice actress that we paid to make the scene. Even the sound effects on the h scenes are part of a sound pack that was very expensive and it takes a lot of time to put everything together. Most of the soundtrack is original and renders and animation standards are constantly getting higher. We know that there is a lot of improvement that we need to make, and we are working on a lot of things to improve. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Every update is available FOR FREE after almost a month since the Patreon release.
We are just getting started and have no plans to stop right now. If you didn't enjoy the game and want to move on to a different one, that is totally fine; we understand. We are going to keep working on our vision and keep improving with every single update. Thank you for taking the time to comment. There is always something to learn from any kind of criticism.

This has to be the best hentai game I've ever played. I really liked the story and the scenes. There are some bugs but the game is still unfinished so it's fine. I'm really looking forward for more updates in the future!

Very interesting story and pretty good visual, but even as a under development game there are several bug that strongly hinder my enjoyability of it.
The most major few I encounter are those which reset quest. If you have progressed asuka's quest, and then go to class on monday again, it put you back at the point where you brainstorm about novel again, which forces you to do the tuesday event again and then go buy a dress for her. But since you already had that interaction with yor the game gets softlocked and nothing can be progressed. The same problem appear when you earn another $400 after buying the dress, the quest gets reset to the point where you need to talk to yor to buy dress and again you can't cause that interaction already happened.
A promising game but for something already on v0.5 I'd expect more care on major quest breaks

We have been trying to fix as many problems as possible, and the Monday loop is hopefully already fixed on version 0.6. I say hopefully because we've been trying to fix that particular problem since version 0.4. We test the game A LOT, we even have beta testers that try every update before it launches, but some of those bugs people report we never encounter during testing, even if we are trying to force them. like going to class on Monday after that quest every single day, on different devices, and after different tasks. We change the code on that particular task, and we also refine code from other tasks. I understand that it is really stressful and stops people from enjoying the experience. We are doing the best that we can to fix every issue that people report. In the meantime, you can skip Mondays after that task is done, which should let you continue with no problems. We are really sorry about that.
I'm playing the 0.5v on mac, and downloaded on this site. I just finished the asuka route and that 2 loop bug was the only bug I have encountered, liking the game a lot!
The plot of this game starts with EVA's Akira, so it saves the complexity of arranging the plot, which should be acceptable, but the carry-over is terrible!
The "male lead" model that appears from time to time even smashed my imagination; it's not "any" character that I've created, but suddenly I'm asked to be someone!
The plot basically doesn't have too many problems, but it's a bit too tedious; Hey, I'm not here to be a giant robot driver, I'm here to be a harem master, is a robot story more important than a " pervert-fantasy " story?
On the system, I've encountered several quest backtracking bugs, especially the quests to earn money to buy dresses and write novels, as long as I get 400$ or go to class on Monday, the quests will be triggered over and over again!
And I don't know why, but it just went beyond the original plot and triggered the HCG in Asuka's room.
Back to the game, I couldn't do anything at all during the original quests, and the quests that triggered the plot line were all on Saturdays, which meant I had to sleep in my room for a week, which was short-lived but actually wasted a lot of time (time that could have been spent "triggering the plot").
It also means that there are no other characters to interact with except for the main line, and without any interaction, the other locations made are uninteresting!
I finished the game and it only took me three hours, actually less if I don't take the time to read it!
The HCG's are all looping in about 10 seconds, there are no other footage except for the current two, and there are only three HCG's per scene... I know, sometimes it's too much to ask, the modules are already prepared by others, the movements are smooth and expressive, but the unnecessary nudity and deliberate arrangements just make me feel "I'm being rude". PS：Why is it so hard to use the rating and review function, and why can't I type my copy ?
Thank you for the criticism. The game is still in early development, and the only route available is Asuka's route because our patrons chose her in the poll (this is not the main storyline). We are working on having a route with basically every character in the game. Asuka's route took a lot of time to make because she will be a key character in the main story plot, but right now her route is done. The next update (0.6) will include a fragment portal that unlocks a different reality in the nexus. That portal feature is to include characters that wouldn't fit into the main storyline.
We understand that a lot of people feel like there is nothing to do besides Asuka's route, and that is because Asuka is the only character with a full route right now. We are still working on the game; it has been less than a year, and we want to make every character interesting and explore different stories. Not just put them all together and make a menu to talk to them and fuck them whenever you want without any character development whatsoever. Most of Asuka's tasks are triggered on Saturday, which is true; that is because of the plot on her route, and in the future, it will be an incentive for the player to go after another girl. Right now, it feels empty because there are no more girls available. But that is changing with more updates. We haven't reached our Patreon goals, and we cannot work on MHF full-time yet, but we are doing the best that we can to not compromise quality and make updates as often as we can.
As I said, the next update will include a FULL route with a different character (available on the portal), and we are now working on 0.7, which will start Power's route (Power was the winner of the patron poll for the next character route). We are also trying to fix as many bugs as possible with each update. When 1.0 finally comes out, it will look VERY different from now.
We understand where you are coming from, and it is fair and valid, but just keep all those things in mind.

Right now there are no cheats available because we don't feel that is necessary at the moment.

How to get portal fragments
0.6 adds the first portal fragment, so if you are playing on version 0.5 you won't be able to find one.

If it looks greyed out, that means there are no more main task missions available.
Think I saw this bug mentioned before, but going to class on Monday resets Asuka's questline completely

"Currently under development..." is a very, very vague annoucement and given the rest of that paragraph, "as soon as we reach our patron goals we will be able to release an official road map and possibly start working full time on the project, which will guarantee updates very often and overall a faster development", it sounds like a sales pitch (and a pathetic excuse) for an unfinished game.
If you truly want people to buy your games...
If you truly want people to view you as a successful and dependable game dev (and not another amateur wannabe hack or worse a crowd-funding scammer)...
First, finish the game AND THEN put a price tag on it.
It's bad enough that AAA companies think we should fund their beta-testing but it's even worse to say, "we can't finish our half-baked game without your money".
Second, stop using software meant for the character creation from one of Illusion's games to make art that is supposed to be owned by you.
Before you make anymore excuses or copouts, ask yourself...
How do you want to be viewed?
Better than your competitors, the same, or worse...
If you want to make money as a game dev then you had better learn to run your ship better than (at least the majority of) the wannabe amateur hacks that overfill itch.io and other sites like itch.io.

Learn to program and learn to do your own art or learn to accept that you will never be a successful game dev.
Every professional in the world, knows starting a business takes a huge personal investment and an even bigger sense of commitment.
I spent 8 years learning to program. 7 of those years were spent learning how to do all of the systems of software design for the type of applications I dreamed of making and some I won't ever need (basic thru advanced).
Then, I considerd architecture and engine design. Finally, after yet another 2 years (studying architecture and engine design) I wrote my first engine.
That is what it takes...that level of commitment.
Even then many other variables come into play.
Before I decided to re-learn programming (because I failed to do so in college during my 20's), I spent 38 years growing up and maturing as a person...working for other people.
I earned my way to the third highest in two seperate companies. I learned how to do business plans, make brochures, speak to investors, speak to distributors & wholesellers, how to be a leader, how to manage groups of people, how to produce products and sell them. All of these are essential business skills that NO ONE is born with.
And I learned how to learn from my mistakes... I worked at Mcd's when I was 20 and again at 32. Plus several retail outlets between the rise of my successes and fall of my misrtakes.
And after all of that time, effort and learning, I still suffered 3 failed startups, before I made it.
And no, I don't sell porn games.
I make and sell legitmate software.
I don't have volunteers. I have employees. I pay them a good wage.
Like most professionals, I didn't do crowdfunding. I make my products and then I sell them.
I wasn't born rich. My mother never made than $14 an hour and my father died in a trailer park the same year I began putting myself back to school. He died before he got to see me finally have my own little piece of the world. I never got to ask if he was proud of me.
Meanwhile...

Right now, you're on the same path as 90% of the other wannabes on this site. but it's never to late to change and learn to do things the right way rather than the quick and easy way.

The next day, when you feel nothing could be more bleak than your life at that moment........you walk back into your office and look upon your desk and all of the business licenses, design documents, diagrams, finished systems and engines, protoypes, spread sheets...(all of your pride) and you have to figure out where to put all of it (if not into the trash can).
You don't know what hard is.
You don't know the price of sacrifice...
You don't know the cost of having a dream....

if you get close enough to see the fruit of your labor turn into enough dollar signs that you can finally hire people.......you will finally understand the cost of having a dream IS the price of sacrifice.

I don't really know where all this is coming from. It's okay if you don't enjoy the game; we are not expecting it to be everyone's cup of tea. If you want to give it 1 start that is fair enough; you have your own reasons, and that is okay. We are constantly trying to improve in every aspect; it does not take that much to see the clear improvement between the first week of the game and the current quality of the renders, animations, and storytelling. If you take a look at our discord, we are always looking for ways to make the gameplay experiences better, trying to fix every bug or error that we encounter and adding features that people suggest and make sense for the overall enjoyment of the game.

It's really weird because you don't know any of us at all, and you are making assumptions based on nothing. You are taking this way too personal. We never claimed that "we know everything." We always try to listen to criticism and learn from it. Neither of us are less than 21 years old. We cannot sell My Hentai Fantasy because it uses copyrighted characters and assets that we do not own. That is why almost every illusion-based visual novel is FREE and we just rely on people supporting the project on Patreon to get early access, but at the end of the day, the game is free. You cannot sell illusion-based games because you can get sued. That is why none of them are published on Steam. So all that about "finish the game AND THEN put a price tag on it." is not possible for us or for the majority of illusion-based developers. And that is okay, we are still working on our regular jobs outside of MHF. You don't know our financial situation.
You don't know how much time, effort, and money we are putting into this project. Every h-scene is custom-made, and every h-scene has a different voice actress that we paid to make the scene. Even the sound effects on the h scenes are part of a sound pack that was very expensive and it takes a lot of time to put everything together. Most of the soundtrack is original and renders and animation standards are constantly getting higher. We know that there is a lot of improvement that we need to make, and we are working on a lot of things to improve. You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Every update is available FOR FREE after almost a month since the Patreon release.
We are just getting started and have no plans to stop right now. If you didn't enjoy the game and want to move on to a different one, that is totally fine; we understand. We are going to keep working on our vision and keep improving with every single update. Thank you for taking the time to comment. There is always something to learn from any kind of criticism.

Very interesting story and pretty good visual, but even as a under development game there are several bug that strongly hinder my enjoyability of it.
The most major few I encounter are those which reset quest. If you have progressed asuka's quest, and then go to class on monday again, it put you back at the point where you brainstorm about novel again, which forces you to do the tuesday event again and then go buy a dress for her. But since you already had that interaction with yor the game gets softlocked and nothing can be progressed. The same problem appear when you earn another $400 after buying the dress, the quest gets reset to the point where you need to talk to yor to buy dress and again you can't cause that interaction already happened.
A promising game but for something already on v0.5 I'd expect more care on major quest breaks

We have been trying to fix as many problems as possible, and the Monday loop is hopefully already fixed on version 0.6. I say hopefully because we've been trying to fix that particular problem since version 0.4. We test the game A LOT, we even have beta testers that try every update before it launches, but some of those bugs people report we never encounter during testing, even if we are trying to force them. like going to class on Monday after that quest every single day, on different devices, and after different tasks. We change the code on that particular task, and we also refine code from other tasks. I understand that it is really stressful and stops people from enjoying the experience. We are doing the best that we can to fix every issue that people report. In the meantime, you can skip Mondays after that task is done, which should let you continue with no problems. We are really sorry about that.
I'm playing the 0.5v on mac, and downloaded on this site. I just finished the asuka route and that 2 loop bug was the only bug I have encountered, liking the game a lot!
Just to add my voice to this, encountered this same problem in both 0.5.5 and 0.5.6. Both downloaded through itch app.
Is there supposed to be a cut scene for when you do the sneak into Asuka's room at night task? Nothing is happening when I enter the room at night.
After you go through the vaginal sex scene and 69 scene, you can sneak into her room at night and that will unlock the anal scene.
i did everything but after viewing both scenes, and talking to her i still get the quest "sneak into asuka's room at night" and no new scene
Is it too much to ask for an unfinished game?
The plot of this game starts with EVA's Akira, so it saves the complexity of arranging the plot, which should be acceptable, but the carry-over is terrible!
The "male lead" model that appears from time to time even smashed my imagination; it's not "any" character that I've created, but suddenly I'm asked to be someone!
The plot basically doesn't have too many problems, but it's a bit too tedious; Hey, I'm not here to be a giant robot driver, I'm here to be a harem master, is a robot story more important than a " pervert-fantasy " story?
On the system, I've encountered several quest backtracking bugs, especially the quests to earn money to buy dresses and write novels, as long as I get 400$ or go to class on Monday, the quests will be triggered over and over again!
And I don't know why, but it just went beyond the original plot and triggered the HCG in Asuka's room.
Back to the game, I couldn't do anything at all during the original quests, and the quests that triggered the plot line were all on Saturdays, which meant I had to sleep in my room for a week, which was short-lived but actually wasted a lot of time (time that could have been spent "triggering the plot").
It also means that there are no other characters to interact with except for the main line, and without any interaction, the other locations made are uninteresting!
I finished the game and it only took me three hours, actually less if I don't take the time to read it!
The HCG's are all looping in about 10 seconds, there are no other footage except for the current two, and there are only three HCG's per scene... I know, sometimes it's too much to ask, the modules are already prepared by others, the movements are smooth and expressive, but the unnecessary nudity and deliberate arrangements just make me feel "I'm being rude".

Thank you for the criticism. The game is still in early development, and the only route available is Asuka's route because our patrons chose her in the poll (this is not the main storyline). We are working on having a route with basically every character in the game. Asuka's route took a lot of time to make because she will be a key character in the main story plot, but right now her route is done. The next update (0.6) will include a fragment portal that unlocks a different reality in the nexus. That portal feature is to include characters that wouldn't fit into the main storyline.
We understand that a lot of people feel like there is nothing to do besides Asuka's route, and that is because Asuka is the only character with a full route right now. We are still working on the game; it has been less than a year, and we want to make every character interesting and explore different stories. Not just put them all together and make a menu to talk to them and fuck them whenever you want without any character development whatsoever. Most of Asuka's tasks are triggered on Saturday, which is true; that is because of the plot on her route, and in the future, it will be an incentive for the player to go after another girl. Right now, it feels empty because there are no more girls available. But that is changing with more updates. We haven't reached our Patreon goals, and we cannot work on MHF full-time yet, but we are doing the best that we can to not compromise quality and make updates as often as we can.
As I said, the next update will include a FULL route with a different character (available on the portal), and we are now working on 0.7, which will start Power's route (Power was the winner of the patron poll for the next character route). We are also trying to fix as many bugs as possible with each update. When 1.0 finally comes out, it will look VERY different from now.
We understand where you are coming from, and it is fair and valid, but just keep all those things in mind.
